I'm not all-in on the whole "it was Israel" theory, but this was certainly.. a choice of words.

Okay I must be confused because I thought Charlie loved Israel. Why have mossad/israel connections been such a popular theory for this shooting and why would Netanyahu even feel the need to address it?

Charlie had recently taken a mildly critical stance of some actions taken by the Israeli government.

Certainly not convincing to compare the current accusations to historical atrocities that they were accused of frequently and convincingly enough to be forcibly ejected by several different countries over centuries.
