Obfuscating the narrative is something Antifa would 100% do... and registering as a republican gave them the power to vote in primaries in states that had closed primaries. They did everything they could to try to stop Trump.

You are correct. A solid firing position is important for even a single shot, as any barrel movement whatsoever causes a deviation that increases with distance.

Didn't even know that. I own both. I just known when I shoot .30-06 theres enough grain in it my shoulder turns purple. A function entirely of the grain and woodstock then.

I have the FNAR I mentioned. Point stands, this is not a difficult shot for anyone.

The optimist within me wonders if the FBI releasing the photo of the gunman is more to spook him, or those around him who might give him up. As in, they have a decent idea who it is and are tracking him down, but want him to know that's where they are at without giving away too much. Or just want the photo to ring enough bells with people who know him and call in, to confirm they are on the right track with the name they may already have. Again, that way the suspect will also be aware that they are on his tail and he can't let down his guard and so will exhaust himself with paranoia.

Surely the gunman would have some common sense to know he'd be caught on CCTV at some point, if he'd had enough sense to put together this plan. So why not bother disguising his identity more? Unless it really is a literal transgender who went "boy mode" to carry this out and thinks that nobody can spot similarities once he's back in AGP mode.

To be fair, the dude in the pictures they released is just a generic white male and could be anyone.

The ATF also issued a statement stating that what was reported by others in regards to the whole 'trans' thing may have been misinterpreted.

No they didn't.
I'll grant you for some posters you can go back and find them laughing at something like the Luigi shooting, but I'd wager more often than not the people accused of "laughing at the politician who got shot" didn't do that, but people like Eman NEED THEM TO HAVE DONE THAT for their own position as "the good guy" to stay intact.

People can't react that fast. The transfaer is a ratio of masses of the bullet to the rest of the system. The rifle is designed to be purely horizontal forces and the spin of the bullet. The bullet is long gone before anything the person can do. Rifle can be shot from a rest with no human input. Bullet is gone before the rest reacts to it. Human anticipation is what throws off shots. He made a 200yd shot nearly a head shot. That's practice.
