All of this is so fucking strange and I am absolutely baffled by how quickly people can turn from saying "You shouldn't ruin other people's lives with tweets, even if they're edgy" to now, "Let's go after their workplace, house and family for laughing at Charlie Kirk". It just seems as though if it's a left-leaning person cancelling someone, it's cowardly and shows they cannot win an argument with words, but if it's a right-leaning person doing it, it's justified.
I thought you guys are supposed to be above this all and not succumb to the SJW tactics that most of the bluehairs partake in?
It just feels like the joker in which "morals" and "code" is a bad joke dropped at the first sign of trouble. No principals, just flexing power. I mean... you already have trump and trump allies in the white house. Companies are already appeasing the right wing on most issues including troons. Are you still on the backfoot when it comes to power?
I don't understand how all of this really culminates to abandoning the right wing principal of letting people say what they want, even if it's ugly. But I guess it takes a tragedy to show a person's true nature. I hope I'm wrong on this.
