I'm kind of wondering how social media will make this about Taylor Swift's engagement.

Black humor aside, I'm seeing reports of South Park pulling the Charlie Kirk episode from streaming. A largely predictable move.

Beyond that, I'm kind of out of feeling for this. Not because I don't care, but because I feel like it's finally happened. It's ironic that Charlie's organization was called Turning Point, because that's what this is. I don't know what a turning point it is for, though civil war is my best estimation.

There are trends to observe. I've been observing a nasty streak from the left dehumanizing the right for more than a decade. Had I been off by a few years, even a decade, well, that's just the unpredictability of large systems.
