Didn't think that would make any sense, but it's possible. I played the close-up video again and the deformation of his shirt at the point of impact 'could' indicate that. The problem with this though is that ceramic plates have an anti-spall coating to prevent fragmentation when a round impacts the plate (this is also why using steel plates alone won't protect you since the fragmented bullet would eviscerate your head and neck as it broke up in all directions).IDK if this is posted yet but, Charlie Kirk was apparantly wearing a bullet proof vest, the neck wound was a ricochet off the vest, is why the JFK-esque bullet wound trajectory.
I thought the same thing, but I can kind of make out the outline of a ballistic vest through his shirt, or maybe I'm reading too much into it. A soft-sided vest also definitely can't stop rifle rounds; a trauma plate inserted into the soft-sided vest can if he was wearing one, but you're right, a soft vest alone can't do it.A vest alone is not going to stop a high powered rifle round let alone deflect it. I doubt he could fit a vest and trauma plate underneath his tshirt without it looking obvious and weird.
He basically had no chance. Once the arteries in the throat are opened up and the cadaveric spasms set in there's basically nothing you can do. I only hope he didn't have enough time to process what happened before he lost consciousness.
Watching that again made me sick. I absolutely fucking hate these ghouls celebrating this man getting killed in front of his wife and kids. You don't even have to like Charlie Kirk or TPUSA to see that this reaction to his death is beyond the pale, but that would assume that these people are still human and not just mindless animals, because that's what they are, animals.
