I'd go farther and say that people who grew up moderately conservative and have since rejected anything that reminds them of their dad remotely right-wing is the majority of people on Reddit.

I can Kind've see it but Charlie isn't the most relevant figure it would be more suspicious to kill him after just saying "maybe Israel kinda bad?". Maybe I'm right in my assement and they already tried such and failed though.

I’m gonna be honest: This is very likely just the case that they didn’t look. You don’t think to. Per various attendees, the security was extremely light. They weren’t even checking tickets, let alone IDs. You could just walk right in. The only security that was there was by Kirk so no one would rush and throw hands.

People have to realize, Kirk isn’t an elected official and is barely more than an internet influencer. He’s not going to have Secret Service detail. More like Paladin rent-a-cop. It’s also a college town just outside Provo. Not exactly a hotspot of high crime. Whatever security was present was more than likely just the minimum required by the university to hold an event, not some elite team of counter terrorism experts.

Bullets don't bounce off aramid fiber vests. they absorb the shock and the bullet would get "caught" in the fibers. It didn't look to me like he was wearing a vest with plates either. He was shot in the neck because the tent blocked a clear view of his head from the roof, so the shooter had to aim for the next most devastating spot, the carotid artery/internal jugular vein. He most likely bled out within a minute of being shot, because he lost consciousness almost immediately. IMO he was DOA at the hospital.

The FBI spokesman mentioned they're looking into doorbell cameras. I've seen estimates ranging from 20-40% of American households having one now. It's a little mentioned surveillance revolution that's going on. Law enforcement may be able to obtain cloud-stored videos from some of these cameras without a warrant, in an "emergency" situation, if the company is cooperative. With a warrant, any of the companies should cough it up fast.

Although Trump had two attempts and now there's this, we aren't yet approaching the violence levels some predicted after Luigi Mario's assassination of Brian Thompson. Maybe the graphic video footage combined with the celebratory response will be inspirational to a few sickos and Purge season is coming, idk.
 
Personally, I think this was a false flag assassination by the US government to create a cassus belli to destroy the rights of troons. And I'm not condemning that; it's a pretty shrewd Machiavellian maneuver on the part of the Trump administration.
 
It's a beautiful day outside, I can smell in the air the seasons changing, it's just too bad this kind of violent shift in paradigms had to happen from yesterday to today of all days.
