Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Think about it in purely strategic terms, by this man being killed, he's been elevated from a milquetoast pundit into a household name and martyr. This is flatly not what you would want from your own interests.
This is likely going to galvanize the right wing diaspora for a considerable time, it's bad optics.

Every news outlet and Twitter "journalist" wants to be the first to break the story, so they're just spewing every rumor they can find on the hopes that its correct and they said it first.

Just like the assassination attempt last year, I got to wake up to reports of some of my employees passive aggressively gravedancing and celebrating the death of some guy who liked to ask questions. I forwarded them directly to HR where they will certainly be sorted in an expeditious manner.

Pro-tip: if you want to gravedance, please continue to do so, and especially if your social media accounts have direct reference to your place of employment. These are my favorites.
