Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

That's certainly far more possible than a blood pack. It's just a bit more sad if he actually was wearing armor and still bit it. I hope this murder doesn't go unsolved.

Yep. I think people are so used to seeing killers like this either get killed, an hero, or captured as they flee the scene that they’ve forgotten that it is absolutely possible to hide from the police for quite a while, especially if they don’t know exactly who they’re looking for.

I’m just praying to God this isn’t some sort of Beltway Sniper type situation and we don’t see Shapiro get ventilated tomorrow too.

That's a wild assumption given the supposed distance of the shot. It does look like he's wearing a plate (which I'd imagine most public speakers in his line of work do as well), and looks like the shot entered the neck. At least to me it does. Bullets do wild shit sometimes, and his shirt moving is probably just disturbances in the air as a supersonic round is passing it.

Also bullets don't typically ricochet off plates

If he was he wore steel plates with no spalling protection. Steel plates are a bad idea just for that reason if he had ceramic plates he would still be alive.

I've heard some mutterings about it just being some sort've big ditch distraction from all the Epstein tape stuff but who the hell knows. It did feel weird someone as comparatively little as Kirk would earn the attention of someone with access to a sharpshooter.

Kirk was a huge star with a gigantic following who even had input in presidential staffing. Huge riots would happen almost everywhere he went to for years and he has the biggest grassroots youth movement in politics period with zoomers moving R at huge rates.

This is not the Charlie Kirk when Groypers were showing up to his events he was 10x bigger now then he was back then.

Hasan was so shook when he learned about this on stream. He knows he more than likely radicalized the person who did this with his rhetoric including calling for the death of Rick Scott. When the fuck are people going to be held accountable for this shit? I'm just so done with politics in this country both left and right. Normal law abiding citizens don't need to live in fear. If Charlie Kirk the most milquetoast conservative I can think of will be assassinated for his opinions and ideas they will kill anyone who disagrees with them. Ironically his brand was turning point USA... this is exactly a huge turning point for the USA. What happens after this I can't even imagine. America will not be the same after today and the political divide in this country just grew by 10000%.

Now he's dead and his two little girls watched him be shot and killed something that will traumatize them for the rest of their lives.
