Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

I think it’s more a matter of “nothing ever comes out of the supposed investigations into these extremely suspect events, thereby suggesting that the perpetrator(s) and those investigating them have identical motives and/or have colluded”.

Anyone who took delight in this, (or thinks he "deserved it"), doesn't understand what precedent this sends. In a functioning and normal society people don't get sniped and de facto executed for having conservative values. In the coming years I think you'll start to see the beginning of the American Years Of Lead. I pray to the lord that this isn't the course we're on, but we're headed in that direction. My heart goes out for Kirk and his family, despite his political views. RIP CHARLIE KIRK.

Why's nobody tracking down and killing left wingers that have said objectively worse things, then? You don't even really seem to know anything. Well that's kinda my point in that it is weird to just call a random person the shooter when they aren't even dressed like one. The shooter was probably only actually recorded fully and properly on some CCTV cameras.
 
Do lefties not understand that there's a huge difference between schadenfreude and actively cheering on terrorism? Like when the right does le epic 41% jokes or whatever, that's schadenfreude, it's not behavior you'd do in front of your priest, but it's not beyond the pale. And like sure if you just saw this Charlie thing and made some dumb joke or expressed a lack of remorse or something like that again it's the same thing whatever. Be careful, criticizing Vidya around these parts can get you fucked (I was thread banned from USPG for daring to say that the 2010s RPG boom with games like Skyrim and Fallout led to modern transgenderism). But I think you make a good point.

I didn't say that. I said it's the culmination of the 24/7 outrage machine, both in media and social media, with people pushing outrage for profit for decades. Sooner or later, it leads to a tragedy like this one. He didn't deserve to be killed, but it doesn't surprise me someone from one side or the other had it happen to them.
