Fr.Yeah off the rack suits might be a bad fit, but most guys get their suits fitted, even at cheap places they will do adjustments for free or a nominal fee, even my cheap suits have the waist made narrower and the legs shortened to fit me, because I have short legs and wide shoulders.
Of course pooners are more extra special, but anything over 200€$£ will have these services included uppon purchase.
I have american brand shirts that are size M, but other more "mod" shirts that are size XXL.
They are unironically supposed to go " suits you, Sir, getting randy with the ladies, are we?" The whole process is very gender affirming even for the fattest and ugliest of men.
For anyone's info, if you want clothing adjusted, the best budget option, rather than a proper tailors, is the dry cleaners. They will do your shit.
Sometimes tailors will even put the pins in for you and send you along to the dry cleaners for the actual stitching, if you're nice to em.
Another tip while we're in this (literal) neighbourhood - if you go into cigar shops, they have tons of spare, decorative, cigar boxes from the stock they sell individually. If you finesse em or, just give them a quid to put in the chairty box, they'll give you box or two. These boxes are really nice, if you happen to buy a loose gift, like a tie or whatever, for someone and want a nice box to put it in, keep your drug paraphernalia in etc
