Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

But wasn't Charlie Kirk somewhat isolationist in his views/not the biggest fan of the US supporting Israel? He's certainly expressed criticism for the US sending aid/money/weapons to Israel in recent months.

Even stranger is his surname is supposedly one from Mohammed’s lineage or some shit. At first I thought he might be an Arab Christian whose parents became Mormons but that seems unlikely. He also appears to have been a devout enough Mormon he did his year as a missionary. His parents welcomed him home at the airport as an elder.

I agree with the sentiment that Trump is underwhelming (or completely whelming when you compare him to the dogshit presidents that came immediately before his first and second terms) but there's no reality where someone whips out the national guard for something like that.

I'll say a little prayer tonight. I've never been particularly religious, but I've often found myself praying in times of great need or distress. This needs to escalate sooner than later before it's too late.
