Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

At any rate I think Trump and Vance should step down for the good of the country. I voted for them but they have been a disaster for this country. We need new elections with a candidates who are in the center and not from the extreme wings of their parties.

I remember someone, I think it was in USPG1, noting how it was strikingly similar between the IRA leaders being put in prisons by the Brits which ultimately gave them connections the criminal elements they needed to take part in the Troubles and the far-right MAGA leaders locked up because of Jan 6.

Never bothered looking into it more to verify the veracity, but if it’s true, it is an interesting comparison. I definitely think it could play a factor if we do see increased political violence like the Troubles here in the States.

1. Republicans just lost the guy who motivated the youth vote and organized everything plus gatekept MAGA
2. Political violence has just been legitimized at a moment where things are passionate
3. There's a power vacuum now for bad actors to take advantage of.
