Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

according to the police scanner, the suspect is Zachariah Quershi, described as a blonde caucasian male, hazel eyes 5''11 198lbs, DOB 5/12/2000, had been going "from hospital to hospital looking for the victim", possibly driving a 2016 toyota corolla

It was bad he died. Though, this was going to happen at some point with how niave he was. He genuinely thought words were above everything else.

He wanted people to be able to own guns so they could protect their families and hunt food to feed them. But they hate guns, so for that they think it's funny that he got shot to death by someone with views identical to their own.

Christ, I feel so horrible for his family. I just lost an immediate family member last year and the pain was immeasurable, and mine didn't even get fucking SHOT in front of God and everybody. I can't imagine what his poor kids are going through, and the cruelty people are gonna throw at them because of who their father was. I pray his family can know peace, this is just unimaginable.

You know, I only learned who Charlie Kirk was sometime earlier this year through an ad on YouTube. I thought what he was saying in it made a lot of sense, and I like watching debates. I didn't agree with him on everything, but the fact he went out and allowed people who disagreed with him to get a chance to talk, debate, ask questions, what have you was really interesting to me. It showed he was the opposite of the fascist people claimed that he was, as despite not agreeing with those who either respectfully debated him or violently swore at him, because he was willingly allowing it to happen.

I was shocked when I saw the news, I only just heard about it in the last 20 minutes or so and my stomach has dropped ever since. I stood by his idea of "when talking stops, violence happens" and allowing for people to communicate and converse with one another, leaving things in a disagreement, because at least it gives a chance for understanding. You can't condemn and dehumanize someone if you open yourself up to talking with them, engaging with their thoughts, and so on. And it's also what allowed me to watch some of what he does and leave with disagreeing, because it's a philosophy that I think is important especially when things are so charged nowadays.

He didn't deserve to die, especially not in this manner. It makes me afraid for what's to happen with the rising tensions between the left and right in America. To me, this is clearly a political assassination—yes, Charlie didn't hold any political power, but he was a prominent advocate in the conservative space. And you know, I think he was absolutely proven right with his basis of when talking stops, violence starts. This was a clearly motivated attack by someone who knew what they were doing. They set out to kill him, and they succeeded. And it's a horrific thought. He's not even a figure I cared deeply about, but it's so unsettling as it proves that having conflicting opinions is being met with violence more and more. I've mostly seen it online, but it's leaking into the real world, and it's utterly terrifying to me.

May Charlie rest in peace, and I hope his family is able to mourn and grieve his loss.
 
I know I'm 200+ pages late, but I will be genuinely praying for Charlie's wife and kids.

If my tranny coworker smugs about this tomorrow, it's going to be very difficult to not punch him right in his fucking face.
