This opinion has probably been stated before in this thread, but I don't really have time to check, sorry.
I'd like to point out something. Kirk was, all things considered, a
moderate. He promoted values which are rarer and rarer these days in this age of harsh polarization: civil discussion, reaching out to the other side and a respect for the democratic process as a solution to the nation's issues. Most importantly, he was a voice of influence coming from the youth - a demographic that is growing angrier and angrier at their falling quality of life and the broken system which kicked them to the curb and left them to die. You may call him a counterweight to people like Spic Fuentes, who is able to survive
precisely because he is able to reach out to the newest politically active generation, even if it's only for the purpose of turning them into seething faggots.
Charlie promoted compromise and the idea of maintaining a healthy democracy to millions. Plenty of more normal, moderately right-wing people share at least some of the views he had thanks to his work. And for having these values, Kirk was murdered in front of a crowd of hundreds of people, his table of debate stained with his own blood. The message is clear: you can believe in the power of peaceful discussion all you want, but if you are anywhere close to right-wing, you will be a target of violence. The left has openly admitted as such for years. This is simply that theory put to practice.
Only a few days ago, a White Ukrainian refugee was stabbed by a feral nog on a train. She sobbed and bled out as the nog said, quote,
"I got that white girl." That act of brazenly racial terrorism kicked a new wave of radicalization in the American Right into high gear, one which has rapidly led to things that were
verboten even two years ago entering into the public discourse. Fox News, the most mainstream conservative outlet in the country, is showing racial statistics. Matt Walsh is calling for the heads of judges and DAs. "Niggers" was straight up trending on X. People are awakening.
And now, while tensions are high, a man with a loving family and naive yet pure ideals who championed the cause of peaceful politics has been brutally and publicly executed. What do you think the moderate right is going to do when their figures calling for compromise and moderation are shot in broad daylight? The answer is pretty simple: they stop treating the other side as a "misguided bunch" and start treating them like the enemies they actually are. Whoever shot him saw a raging fire and decided the best course of action was to drive a truck full of gasoline into it. There is no going back from this. The line set by the assassination attempt on Trump has stretched further to simple influencers. People on the moderate right will know, instinctively, that they themselves are next. And that fact will change them. They may stop believing in the idea of any peace and compromise and believe the only solution to the woes of the nation is not a political one.
The Right has a new martyr. Charlie Kirk's death brought America closer to the "fascist state" the Left fears more than anything Charlie Kirk did while he was alive. That is why they are the stupidest and most evil people the world has ever seen and that is why they will not be prepared for what is coming. And it is totally and entirely their fault.
