Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Here is a picture of the shooting site. Kirk was in the middle of the recessed area, in the middle of the picture, marked by the white square. The shooter is believed to have been on the roof of the Lossee Center, the building at the bottom of the picture. It is about 200 yards away from where Kirk was shot.

The only thing that makes me think it wasn't that building, is the giant tree in-between the building and where Charlie was sitting. I'm guessing it was the building on the left side with the flat roof where the shooter was. Could've either been from the roof or a window if the windows are able to be opened.
