He might tell himself this because it's the last bit of agency he clings to, but he was only really good at 'flinging shit' when he was hammering in the last nails in the coffins for people it was already getting popular to hate (he, bafflingly had a chance to do this in the modern day with Piratesoftware and completely bungled it by instead expressing sympathy for him). When it comes to flinging shit at targets that will actually viciously fight back like Sam Hyde or Ethan Klein he runs away like the raped bitch he is in short order. I don't think we'll ever get that Ian back he is absolutely raped. I don't think he even understands what's going on, like his IQ has dropped significantly as time has passed. He cant comprehend why everyone got angry at him when he backstabbed Ethan in favor of Hasan. Its like Ian lacks any form of self reflection so he cant understand what hes doing is retarded.
