Watching Synth bitch about the remake is like watching an autistic toddler bitch about getting a new better brand of Spaghetti O’s, then bitching about going back to the original brand.

It’s a remake, that’s all it’s supposed to be, same game, new graphics and slight additions. Is it unoptimized? Sure. Am I glad it exists? Yeah, MGS3 with modern (albeit unreal engine) graphics, thanks, it’s serviceable and I’ll buy it.

I don’t need 50 retards in a basement whining about its existence when we could be getting “MGS8, The Black Troon Rapist Snake saves Palestine” where the main villain is fucking Woodrow Wilson’s left testicle or some shit.

I'm actually with Synth on Silksong, I genuinely do not understand why 500k people are playing it on Steam it looks boring as fuck.

I like Castlevana I'm not averse to the genre but it does not look appealing.

to me the artstyle, while it is very good, at the same time lacks any edge. i am sure i will get enjoyment if i play either hollow knight game but i still have little desire to play either one despite purchasing the first one on a steam summer sale a few months ago.

I watched Latina's stream and after like five hours every environment looks exactly identical and he fought three enemy types.

It probably does get different because I heard it's like 60 hours long but that's another thing I'm not sure a Metroidvania game can hold my attention that long.

It's one of those games that are so bland and uninteresting, and looks like it could have 'mostly positive' on steam with 154 reviews. You could throw it in a list of hundreds of indie metroidvanias and it wouldn't stand out if the IP originated in 2025. Just another 'Reddit: le 2D game'.

to me a metroidvania should not be super long. that is my main problem with bloodstained which prevents me from replaying it honestly. so hearing how long both hollow knight and silksong are seems extremely insane. part of the appeal of the genre is finding different paths (get certain abilities before others, ect) to better optimize the run and are on the more shorter side for that so hollow knight games being extremely long is insane.

Most Youtubers including Synth should watch Mr. Beast and study how he makes his videos instead of complaining about how their views are going down all the time. Mr. Beast clearly has an in with youtube and they clearly tell him what to put in and what not to put in every video so just follow that to find out how to play the algo and win. He was the one that started the soyface in thumbnasils and the one to end it because soyfaces in thumbnails no longer brought the views. It's just that easy. If you dont want to follow Mr. Beast just look at Asmonroach or Fagcritical those guys also have an in with Youtube through Night Media Group. Just study the things they put it their videos their thumbnails etc. and there you go algo friendly channel. Save your self and me from another crashout business meeting.

Hollow Knight was like that so can't be surprised Silksong is the same. I will say that Silksong is beautiful though.
