It’s been bothering me so much, I feel like the constant hate I see online towards phalloplasty is only getting more common.

The amount of people I’ve seen call it “frankensteins monster”, “slab of meat”, I’ve even seen someone call it “carrion”?? As if we’re just picking up roadkill and stitching it on ourselves. And they always hold the idea that it’s completely useless and limp all the time as if phallo was just a fancy packer.

Yes, the surgery is not perfect, but it’s an incredibly complex and advanced procedure. You are quite literally changing one body part into an entirely new one with almost full functionality. Medical research takes a long time and so do advancements in surgery, especially when most governments (and a fair amount of people in general) aren’t very keen on even the notion of such a surgery existing in the first place. A complication can be fixed, can be reconstructed, can be changed, can be medicated. But the damage of dysphoria can be permanent.

To call a literal part of someone’s anatomy “disgusting and slapped together” is frankly vile. Phalloplasty is something I look forward to with my whole heart, I will never feel truly like a man without it. So knowing there are people out there that believe my dream body is an abomination? Doesn’t feel good.

So to fight all the negativity, here’s some phalloplasty hope!

-Phalloplasty works. Yes, there are complications, as with any surgery, but it works.

-If you go through all the stages of phallo and get some tattooing done, it can be almost indistinguishable from a natal penis.

-No need to worry about erectile dysfunction. Just pump up that sucker and go crazy. I’m a strict top (dysphoria would kill me if I received in any capacity) so having phallo would be a dream come true for actually getting stimulation.

-Many men with phallo say it’s even more pleasurable to have sex than before because this time there’s no dysphoria or self consciousness to get in the way of feeling every heavenly touch.

-Little known fact, but you can technically ejaculate with phallo! It’s the same liquid from the skene’s gland (commonly called squirt but the word feels gross to me), and sometimes it comes out similar to actual cum. There are a couple posts about it on r/phallo.

Three questions here:
  1. How the hell are they "hooking up" the tiny ass skene's glands to the rot dog? They're kinda close to the urethra but there's no way a rotdog surgeon is handling something that delicate.
  2. Do you think the pooner is aware the skene's glands are located immediately outside of the urethra, not inside of it.
  3. Whose skene's glands are productive enough to confuse it with pee/squirt?
Jeez, while the surgeons are at it, why not just stuff the whole vaginal canal + cervix into the rotdog too. So much ejaculate to be had! The damage from complications and fleshcrafting yourself will be permanent too. Loss of function, dead nerves, painful sensations, infections, and etc. Medical interventions keeping you going are NOT THE SAME THING AS BEING OKAY. There is this pervasive idea for some reason that if something is being medically treated it's the same as not being an issue at all. This is not true.

Men don't say this. Women say this. And they're lying. I'm sure many of the ones saying this hardly had enough sexual experience of any kind to truly compare it to, acting out the fetish is the closest they're getting, so I'm sure they experience some sort of thrill from it but the real sensations of actual sex aren't there and neither is the bonding experience.

Hell, ECT and even brain surgery both have a far better track record of curing mental illnesses than phalloplasty with its perfect 100% complication rate. You're (well, your doctor is) supposed to try the least risky/invasive treatments first, before jumping to the crazy flayed limb roll attachment.

Looks like OP forgot something...
- Remember to pray to be part of the lucky 25% that will not have any post-surgery complications
- Otherwise, you will end up with serious urinary system issues
- Keep your fingers crossed that your dog does not become a rot dog, as it has very poor blood flow compared to that of a natal penis
- Beware not to be too coombrained when it comes to the shape of your penis if you want it to look natural, this includes an average and reasonable size
- You have to artificially pump your dog so that it becomes hard and you do not embarass yourself on bed
- Expect to (literally have to) dilate (your new urethra)
