This would make sense, but the application is all wrong. If you actually wanted to change things in your shithole country, you would begrudgingly accept that the main contender for possible change on your side might not fully implement your vision and has had to moderate his views in order to get more of the electorate on your side, instead of just gatekeeping and say that he's bad for your movement. He's always been bad at optics, but now he doesn't even have a strategic vision anymore.

I would argue Sargon is one of the few where I don't think he'd call himself out-and-out Christian. At best, he'd waffle around and go with a "culturally christian" midpoint or something. Some context, this audio is with Mauritian Struggle a UKIP member and I believe canvasser.
