No, they mean in-game.
FFXIV is basically an ERP platform with a game attached. There are hundreds of ERP clubs where gooners gather to pair up. Some are also ERP hookers who charge in-game currency for e-sex. I'm assuming this person "works" at a "venue" as in "has erotic roleplay for in-game currency" at a "private club on Square's servers".

Literally, if you are actually trying to play this game, you will find yourself interrupted and impeded by gooners at all turns. They've completely taken over a feature of the game, the party finder, so that it is entirely ERP club advertisements and you physically cannot browse it to use it as its intended feature.

Lalafells are wholly characterized as childish in behavior, looks, voice tone, apparel, furniture accessories, etc. They're basically like the Kokiri from OoT, forever-child forest-elves. Despite this, there are thousands of gooner mods associated with them. You can get a mod that turns them into a huge-titted short-stack anime elf which I assume is what this guy is using for his ERP at his "venues" that he "works" at.

Associated drama: there was a mod-sync program that recently shut down and it's worse than the Holocaust according to these gooners. More info in the actual FFXIV thread.

May I suggest a little game for when you're bored? Just like "find funny bans on the centcom ban hub", Every once in a while I click on a random poster in the ss13 reddit thread to see if they're a functioning member of society or just have milk.

SS13 is the type of game where people put more effort into staff applications than job resumes to be given the green card to be a degenerate (and get away with it)

I don't really get the narrative when it's much more obvious that ERP servers advertising on furry porn sites is a much more direct and obvious cause of what's plaguing the game. You wish this game was plagued by Sseth fans.

There's more overlap between those two groups than may seem logical at first.

Though I'd take an average Sseth watcher over the average SS13 current day user any day, for shits and giggles I peeked at the Hub again (I usually just direct connect to Kiwistation and don't bother looking), and god is it sad. It's just porn, porn, Colonial Marines, porn, Goonstation, and more porn.

I pity any poor bastard that watches Sseth's vid late, thinks things look fun, then hops in and sees these as the top picks. (I'm not familiar at all with Monke, though right below are three porn servers in a row).
