From what I've heard, the organization mentioned a few pages back, autism speaks, absolutely sucks. I do have that information from reddit though so it may be wrong. I myself have autism and absolutely hated every therapist I was forced to interact with as a kid. I want to be a human, not "the autist", don't force me to talk to people I hate. Whatever, time to open a new bottle of rum. Nowadays I only talk to people I want to, not "the rapists".
 
This is very late, I haven't had time to post until now, but anyone who thinks Clint should have cut off Cobes' cellphone and internet service- either to alog or genuinely- I highly encourage you to go read the Lucas Werner thread. Lucas' parents cut him off long ago because he wouldn't take his meds, and what did Lucas do? Spend the past nearly 20 years sitting on welfare, screaming into his phone to post on YouTube about how God needs to yeet him a Zoomer Bae right now. It's not like the old days where if a cow's parents cut them off they might hit rock bottom enough to actualy improve- it's far too easy for the goverment to pick them up and become surrogant parents. If Clint had cut Cobes off, he would have gotten an Obamaphone within a couple days and kept streaming himself homeless in the local park or shelter.

People in this and other threads bitch about parental enabling, but everyone in the Wern's thread bitches about Myrna taking Hawaiian vacations and King Roy sitting in the Elk Kingdom while their fat pedo schizo son wastes tax payers money, and I feel like the Farms really needs to pick a lane on this topic and stay in it.

I’ve seen similar shit about AS being problematic on Reddit and while there may be some truth there, I’m not going to judge a grieving father for not vetting the charity he’s going to donate to on his dead son’s behalf.

I have a feeling Reddit won’t have the same emotional maturity.

I think she posted about a week ago, her most recent uploads are flooded with people informing her of Josh’s passing. Most of the comments are absolutely horrendous but it is what it is YouTube.

She’s either going to:

A - address it directly and make a statement, B - continue to ignore it,
C - completely quit making videos

On one hand at least she is being informed, on the other it’s horrible to have people making jokes and mocking you as they do so.

YouTube is about as bad as Reddit at this point. We need to get these broccoli heads and neckbeards under control toobs.

If it was just the government supporting them, they’d hit rock bottom. It’s the alogs watching them and giving them those YouTube dollars.
 
I had no idea who King Cobra was until he passed. I've spent the last few days watching his OG documentary and Bite-sized vids.

Josh seemed like that one kid every high-school had. A bullied kid with some disabilities that turned into a Goth/Metalhead. If he would've graduated 20 years ago before social media became the norm he'd probably still be working at Wendy's and living in an apartment.

Putting himself out to the youtube universe was a double edge sword as it brought him some infamy but also was his downfall.

I think the saddest part is people would call the Police to harass him, but when he made his last video looking near death no one seemed to do anything. If there was ever a time to do a welfare check that should've been the time.

Reading through this thread most people didn’t think badly of him and while he fit the lolcow title he was one of the better ones. RIP King Cobra sorry the world was so cruel to you, you didn't deserve it.

No idea about Autism Speaks, I donate to the Brain & Behavioral Research Foundation every year since Terry died and his family created a recurring memorial fund. I think this would be Cobra-approved.

Lucas gets sub-100 views and literal cents, if even that, from it. He's still managed to grift and loose multiple fartboxes from the goverment, spent time in shelters until he got kicked out for creeping on the women working or volunteer there, and now spends his days in a nursing home, making food abominations that makes Cobes' stuff look appetizing, and wandering the streets ranting into his phone about how teleomerase means he needs to breed with a 16 year old. Cobes would have lead a similar life, especially since Cobes was actualy tarded. He would have traded Clint for daddy goverment and still drank himself to death.
 
Praying to skygod if/when Clint does a celebration of life stream everything goes well. I've seen so much outpouring of love and support for Josh here with great tributes and heartfelt messages and it really warms my heart, and I'm sure it would warm Josh's heart as well. I will be in that stream.

That quote so memed to death but it really encompasses how much clint did give a fuck about Josh. It is the quintessential proof in my opinion, that is, the wand saga. I'll kinda retardedly explain it below. And my bad for the sperging but I cant stop thinking about the whole wand saga and cobes in general.

Imagine you have a 30 something year old drunken regard for a son.

Imagine he has a wand making hobby.

Imagine that hobby has got him evicted for spray painting amongst other things, inside.

Imagine you help him secure and move him into another apartment.

Lathe.exe has started.

You help him install a lathe in the new apartment. An equally bad version of the same sort of activity that got him evicted from the previous apartment.

You teach him how to use it cause your worried he'll get hurt. And he kinda listens.

You even help him get to the post office dot the is cross the ts and help ship the wants.

You couldn't make the boy eat right and stop drinking. Or go to a home or rehab or whatever the fuck.

You can though try to at least bond with your son. Find some sort of common ground. A creative and positive relationship and activity as lame as it was genuinely positive for him. With the exception of some sort goattee accident or eviction it was a solid little thing regardless of how seriously cobes took it. Its more than most father's would do for their adult sons in terms of bonding. At least when there son is a drunken mess.

Alot of us a really cynical but ask yourself this. do you have the courage to ask your father something so silly as to help you with your wand making business? Maybe he'll help you build a deck or fix an engine or do your taxes witch is good. But think of the lamest loser ass hobby you have, could you share that with your dad? Thats unconditional love. Before you ever even factor in all the other bullshit cobes and clint went thru.

i picked up one of these to wear to the gym...idk. it sucks. i wish that the one time he needed help, someone wouldve sent the cops, ambulance, anything. that aside....i wonder something..my father in law...he was 44 at the time, this was ages ago...but he thought HE had some major stomach bug, was puking, feverish, refusing to go to the goddamn hospital...and 3 days later they found him dead. cause? ruptured aorta. that also killed one of the members of depeche mode, if i remember correctly...anyway, i wouldnt be surprised, because pancreatitis isnt an instant thing, and if his appendix had burst, idc how well he managed pain, he wouldnt have slept through it. just an idea, i guess. doesnt really matter of course, i just dont want to think that he suffered too much.
ETA maybe i wont wear it to the gym, but SOMEWHERE. walmart. an apt place.
