We really should just make a full doc of how often the people who got let go after the pilot act passive aggressive about the show now.

I don't really think it's a good idea. Partially because most of them do have a genuine reason to be pissed (not to mention most of them were sinking money into advertising her show while Viv did nothing.) she made no way of actually promising them the roles (which she led them to believe they were being casted finally.) until the rug was lifted from under them.

Not only that. Michael was sexually harassed at a con by a Val cosplayer, Viv said nothing while she said something when Blake did too. She had accused Ashley of being abusive towards Michael in a way of breaking them up. So their anger isn't to say the least not warrented.
I have to agree with Dr. Arinsu here. The majority of people who were let go of after the pilot got picked up by A24 don't talk about the show unless it is brought up to them. And when it does, they don't go into much detail about it. Even if they have every right to, it seems like most of them aren't wanting to start drama.

It'd be bad business practice yes, but chimping out about Vivz would be the funniest option, and I don't see why not considering how much shit Vivz gets away with shit talking and literally trying to blacklist workers because of some spat they got in before.

Because as you said, it would be bad business practice and they know it's smarter not to get into petty squabbles with someone like Viv. But I'm sure one of these days, Viv is going to bark up the wrong tree and truth of it all will come out of it. It always does.

She's already been google dockied a couple of times already, hasn't she?

Dave Capdevielle, one of the co writers from the pilot, was acting like that from the get go. When the recasts were first announced, Ashley tweeted to give the pilot VAs love and support, whereas Dave just bluntly tweeted "I am very disappointed". He liked these tweets: 1755913589407.webp

From what I know, he didn't like Michael's tweet in December 2023 about him not being in Hazbin wasn't union related. Probably because while he knows it's bullshit, technically, that's one of the reasons Viv gave when she listed off the reasons about replacing them.

There's also the time he took a pic of himself, and three people who made fat comments towards him had Helluva Boss profile pictures. I believe that tweet is now deleted. But still, it's ironic how Dave prides his involvement with Hazbin more than Ashley, yet he's been more openly hostile towards it.

I don't think Dave is malicious. In fact he's the one who also wrote the pilot, which if memory serves is due to potential credits not being due. Reminder these people are literal who's. Michael does not care anymore because now he's being casted everywhere. Viv lost out on him. Blake is a wannabe Michael. He isn't Michael.

No, of course not. I'm just pointing out how little he comes up in discussion, with the most frequent being him liking Morgan Berry's tweet. Ashley gets more traction than him, which understandably, is due to her hosting Hunicast, her involvement with Erin Frost, and Zee's liked tweets during the Lackadasiy donation fiasco. But when it comes to Hazbin, Ashley's been more publicly civil, even liking the tweet of Michael and Blake doing the spider man meme. I don't think Dave did though. He only positively acknowledges Hazbin when it strictly pertains to the pilot cast. Yet, I see people claim that the pilot VAs were fired due to being friends with Ashley... even though the Discord user who posted the email said they themselves were recasted, meaning they were a VA, which Ashley was not. Dave was. He voiced Alastor's microphone, objectively the best character.

Yeah the firing is somewhat believable considering how Viv is possessive with her own workers that she would deem you a traitor if you work on other projects.

With Dave there's not a lot known on what happened between him and Viv. All I know is that Viv really didn't want any of her crew to work on Dave's project Far-Fetched.

And she would shit-talk about Dave's ex to him. Viv_being_a_cunt_1.webp

Not to be that kind of person, but I've just read through this entire thread, and I do not understand how a grown woman in such a position still can't get "your", "you're", "too", and "to" correct.

i agree with you viv, i love hellaverse because it really reminds me of kiwi farms. the way we are ostracized by authorities for stupid things like saying nigger, sent to dwell in the darkest corners of the internet is literally like the injustice of heaven you portray in your shows.

null is literally lucifer, who had many ideas that were not accepted by authorities trying to keep the world order untouched.
but he offered us the forbidden kiwi of knowledge and that resulted in him being banished.

hazbin hotel showed me that it is, indeed, better to rule in hell with other wrongdoers than serve in heaven to trannies, and that the group of people claiming themselves to be "good", "righteous" and "on the right side of history" may be in reality wrong, corrupt and hypocritical.

“I cannot bear to engage with art that does not reflect my skewed, political view of reality and particular brand of activism right now.”
Imagine having such a sad, undoubtedly anger-ridden existence.
And obligatory meme.

I like how people point out that it's not people that go to Hell that are all gay, but the demons and imps and stuff. So...the literal spawns of Hell are all faggots. That's so much better...

Vivzie will probably make the angels heckin’ homophobic to try to explain it.
