Fat, bald Anisa era reminds me of a current streamer gaining popularity, becoming friends with QT Cinderella and other Hasan friends, even being invited to the streamer games. Vanilla did all the requirements to be accepted by that crew, just like Anisa, such as openly denounce and shit on H3 and suck up to Hasan. And it worked for her, but it didn't for Anisa. She also has the aesthetic I think Anisa was going for in the past, but for her it's actually authentic. Vanilla almost dropped out of highschool, used to be a stripper, is tattooed, short hair, has those vibes of not giving a fuck about being conventionally attractive (bad tattoos but to a lesser extent and ones she obviously got over the years, very short hair and bad haircut, chubbier, etc.) and it seems to be working for her. She's not my thing personally but has a very large fanbase now, blew up out of nowhere and i think Anisa has to be seething for sure that she and other new streamers got accepted by QT, Valkyrae, Poki and others immediately while Anisa has been bending over backwards trying to get accepted into those circles for quite a while and they've never given her a crumb of attention.

I don't think Anisa realizes that the aesthetic she's going for only works when it's in your past and happened authentically, because you just lived that way before you blew up online and can now have a normal life. She's not punk, or punk rock, or an edgy woman who used to do "sex work" that now has insane stories about her past that people wanna hear. She's the epitome of a poser to those people.
