Trump is polling at very terrible levels. Midterms are usually awful for the incumbent and with Trump dropping in the polls faster than most posters in this thread's pants at a lemon party, it's going to be a blood bath. The internal polling must be especially bad for Trump to demand that Texas further gerrymander.

Gore ran probably the worst campaign possible. All he had to do was associate himself with Clinton, who still had pretty favorable popularity, and he'd have cruised. Instead he went on his own when he had the charisma of a cardboard box. Although even if he does win, he probably loses in 2004 due to having zero charisma.
