Destiny is unknowingly conditioning his son by neglecting him.

Destiny was classically conditioned as a child to become a sex addict, through the neglect from his parents, paired with the rape.
The only moment in his childhood when he received "positive" attention was when an adult used him for sexual gratification. Since Nathan doesn't receive positive attention from his father or mother, any positive attention he receives now will be deeply embedded in his subconscious. If it's from being an edgy groyper online, he's unlikely to simply "grow out of it" as Destiny suggests he will.
The groyper movement will end eventually, as all movements do. But Nathan will always go the edgy route to chase that kind of attention since he didn't receive it from his parents. If I were Destiny, I would be very concerned about where Nathan will be in 10 years.

It's the exact same story for "no dad" sex workers and OF girls. If parents neglect a young girl, the only positive attention she receives growing up is from adult men jeering at her sexually.
