Gonna put money down on him pulling what he always does with this shit which is the whole I'm in the negative so now I need X amount of kahntributions on top of the usual dent-fifty when in reality he's just back at neutral zero.

His BF6 "gameplay" reminds me a lot of him "playing" Helldivers 2. He would just run around randomly, then usually run away from enemies and ignore playing the objectives (he probably didn't even understand them). Whether he'll win or lose depended entirely on whether his teammates can cope with playing with de facto one missing player, so whether he'll see the win or lose screen may as well be random and pre-determined. Elden Ring Nightrein went the same way too, he's just dead weight.

Exactly, this is an old scam he has brought back, I'm surprised it's been years since we last saw it. Get a bunch of money > fake crash out > "That idiot will probably chargeback the money" > at least a day passes > "I got chargebayoucked hundreds of dahllers and I need YOU, YES YOU! to make up the difference. Sound good?"
 
If that was ICS, even if he charges back, he's a fucking moron.

He could have had a clean start and tried to integrate himself into the community more, then done something with more impact later on down the line. Crashout was still good though, but could have been even better. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Derich is still lurking on an alt account with a clean start.

I don't know why I'm bothering to make this post. But you know, I know, and Phil knows he JUST declined to do a Wendy's DSP Tries It because "its just a gimmick" or some shit. Literally all this shit is is slapping the word "adult" in front of a regular kids meal and charging the price of a normal meal. He KNOWS what this meal is. HPW IS IT A DSP TRIES IT?
 
Maybe im being retarded but ive always thought happy meals are for children. Are there Adult versions of it? There is no way thats a thing. Imagine getting excited or pissed at the prospect of eating whats essentially children's food more so getting excited over the toy it brings.
 
the bf6 gameplay is amazing. its like hes literally not realizing hes supposed to be like a soldier in a battle zone, checking around corners, watching his back, careful approaches. hes completely baffled as to why spraying machine gun fire down a corridor is more effective than sprinting around with a fucking long rifle in close quarters. he doesnt know the fucking controls and blames the game for it cuz pressing a hotkey once is really hard and complicated.

this would make great tihydp material

He's 1500-something right, so he is almost top 5% roughly. He's really bad at almost literally every other game he plays including games made for infants like Spyro, but he is a pretty high tier player on these games.

He's really not. Hitting 1500 is more of a measure of time than skill, like johnkimble said in a previous post.

Every time he played a non-smurf session (which was rare, he quickly identified he couldn't hang), he lost MR. His Dhalsim went as low as 1300 at one point.
 
Also worth of note: everyone who hits Master startts with Mr 1500. Many players then experience the real world. Some fall down to 1200 MR. Admittedly Phil never fall down that hard but he had days where he was way below 1500 MR. As I said, he is more like a gatekeeper then a real competitor. If you beat DSP you are good enough for Master low ranks

What would you say it's equivalent to in something like CoD? Is it like Diamond or Iridescent rank? Or just totally different?

Not many people play fighting games I think so it's hard to really get where he's at. Honestly top 10% is good if it's like a legit ELO score.

He's oblivious to the spotting mechanic as well. To be fair though 95% of players don't realize they can spot while downed. I spot the 3 or 4 around my body so my squaddies won't run into the meat grinder (No, child) to revive me.
 
I believe Phil got to 1600 with Blanka Ball cheese, and he's generally around that 1400-1500 level with a handful of good command grab characters, so he's like average Master. But, remember, guys like PieceOfPeace picked up the game and in a few months neared Phil's level, albeit only with Cammy.

I think that must be his best character. He played a pro player and lost every single round using a myriad of different characters, but won one singular round with Blanka.

PoP had at least 2 Characters on Master: Cammy and Mai. Not sure, if he brought AKI to Master but he played with her too
