So this happened recently. Granted this seems to be more fault on the people behind the convention and then did fix it by removing the original advertisement with this art. I'm just putting this out here because this isn't the first time that stuff from the pilot days was traced and used in recent Hazbin Hotel media.

Practically over night Ashley and Viv went from pals to barley acknowledging each others existence. It makes me wonder what happened behind the scenes between those two.

Viv accused Ashley of being abusive to Michael out of jealousy, then there's the fact during the pilot days people assumed Ashley created Hazbin due to Viv's absence.

That's true on both. We even have the discord messages of Ashley saying that Viv was telling people that not only was she was abusing her boyfriend at time but that she was also a sexual predator.

He seems like one of those guys who does really mental fucked up stuff to his smart but naive artsy girlfriends, that you couldn't really call "abusive" in a court of law, but that makes you want to beat him up as if he'd hit her. Homestuck seemed really full of itself and like he was intentionally courting sycophants rather than art appreciators.

Ah yeah, the egg guys, the ones voiced by joe as a advertised selling point for the series without his knowledge or permission! You know, one of the newgrounds guys that got thrown under the bus as soon as the amazon deal happened, I mean on top of the prior drama where people thought he was crazy and making shit up about her and other people doing weird shit and just assumed he was burning bridges because schizo.

He made a video using an image of the egg guy he voiced last year when isreal started bombing the shit out of gaza (their own guys included).
Every slactivist at the time was still focused on Ukraine and Steamboat Willy hitting public domain status, and they hadn't flipped on their view of jews yet. I think it's important pointing that bit of extra context. My point is this is the only good bit of Hazbin hotel media since the pilot and it's an intentionally half assed fun video shitpost about war crimes. Something hazbin won't cover ever because we can't have the spooky real world atrocity people in our HELL cartoon!

The official site was mspaintadventures, which a few years ago right around a bit before corona happened struck a weird publishing/partial ownership deal with ViZ media and rebranded the site to homestuck.com with an ass cancer tier "mobile friendly" layout and a fuckton of bugged and broken pages. This somehow got worse in recent years leaving unofficial shit the only way to truly read through it in full without issues like images being weirdly compressed or missing entirely. Only issue is in the post-rona world it seems that the "community" has decided to isolate all of the archival to a single failure point because then they can add shit like "slur and bigotry removal toggles". amongst various other censorship toggles that basically destroy the enjoyability of the comic to anyone who isn't someone with a party politics team focused mushed up thinkpan.

The way "influencers" are talking about this crossover bugs me I avoid most of the current crop of cancer online as much as possible unless funny but it's like all the ones that have assaulted my eyes thanks to the algorithm lately when autoplay turns on for some retarded reason talk like fucking Kevin Gibes for lack of a better comparison. No they aren't amhole types but they do have the stink. the stench. I read webcomics back int he day because I thought webcomics were cool. these "people" apperently get into it because it makes them look like quirky wholesome chungus with "hyperfixations" and blame old homestuck fans for hazbin hotel going "HMMM DONT'T HINK YOU'RE INNOCENT OF STARTING THIS IF YOU LIKED HOMESTUCK YOU'RE NOT INNOCENT MILLENIALS!" Anyways my point is is people overhype homestuck. It was a cool webcomic, (not for everyone it was blatantly mspa callbacks and point and click shenanigans as it was the fourth mspa comic) and then act 6 it got fucked by the starting seeds of current year eternal. You're beter off reading shit like Sweet bro and hella jeff (which also cameos in the comic) which was a parody of a really shitty gaming webcomic on the penny arcade forums that gained it's own life outside that. SOmehow it's the ultimate gamer comic. You've likely already seen sweet bro and hella jeff in some form sometime.
