The Roblox Erotic Roleplay Community - "Roblox's ERP problem began in the mid 2010's as a quiet whisper. Over the next decade, this whisper would slowly grow into a blood curdling scream, audible from every corner of the platform."

I've wanted this stupid fucking company to collapse outright ever since I made an account a few years back to try to replay a map that was around like 17 fucking years ago, only to find that significant changes to the codebase had killed the scripting on the maps and they were completely non-functional.

That they support rampant pedophilia is just the extra topping that makes me go from wanting their company to fail to wanting them to die destitute and homeless.

Not going to lie, I saw the news about them banning the pedo hunter and thought they were just going to coast out of the problem. So glad someone took notice and now are going to drag their ass over glass shards for it.

Good. Kill it now or worst case If they survive, make the gundam/40k mods playable on console.
I read personal injury firm. Oh. Oh dear. Roblox has done fucked themselves good. He didn't just get a lawyer, he has an entire fucking team. Roblox is getting double slammed, from Louisiana on one end, and @Schlep on the other. They are FUCKED
Excellent.

To give you an idea of what the AG is like, I had jury duty in louisiana once, and she was there. She radiated "do not fuck with me" energy, and from other testimonies it definitely adds up. Roblox will be suffering very soon.

Bad news, all it's degeneracy will spill over into zillions of clones ala Pandora's Box and big Gubba will use that to justify making Brave New World in real loife.
You're too pessimistic dude, Roblox is a centralized gaming platform, it is impossible to make a clone of it that has enough au—

Hold up, is this sarcasm? If so; gr8 b8, m8. Almost fell for it. :smug:

Actually, now that I think about it, Roblox has always had this problem, even stemming back to like, 2009-2010 ish.
There was once this fairly popular gamemode that was called "Insert Wars" and basically the idea behind that was that players could load in custom objects and scripting to an otherwise plain map. This usually resulted in troll wars and map destruction, but I strongly recall that there was a specific insert people used to spam that was a naked character that locked onto other players and basically forced them into a rape stunlock.
And the average age of users was probably like 11 even back then.

This game has always been a fucking breeding ground for this sort of shit.

Before roblox had the genius idea to force the filtering of what was replicated from client to server in 2015ish it was very common for "Rape Scripts" to be injected by people using exploit tools that roblox servers would just accept and replicate to all connected clients. Roblox not taking basic measures to protect kids has been going on for a long ass time.

I don't remember there ever being an issue with Club Penguin, which ironically is abbreviated "CP".
They also had one of the most strict moderation systems implemented so far, IIRC. Any "spicy words" were met with instant bans, which I think it helped it to stay safe for kids.

In an ideal world, parents should be responsible for what their kids do online, but alas, the best next thing we had come up with is to give children a constant surveillance sandbox.

every game aimed at kids is infested the same way.
Are they really?
Maybe it's a sign of the times, but as an avid kiddy MMO player back when I was a child, I don't recall games like Toontown, Club Penguin, Wizard101 etc. ever having an issue with predators, nor do I have any personal stories about creepy/suspect encounters. You could attribute this to the fact none of these games allowed UGC, but even so, Roblox certainly has the resources to painstakingly vet what kind of content gets through.
Fortnite is the only modern kiddy game I really know about, but I don't think they have it as bad over there either.
