It makes me sad to see Roblox's declining reputation, because it seems like there are so many talented young people making amazingly cool things on there. I don't want the birthplace of their creative career to be seen as "that groomer game."

Just learned about this game Guts & Blackpowder made in Roblox, about Napoleonic-era solders facing a zombie apocalypse. Looks so cool. Are we gonna stand by and let BBC Condos ruin this?

All you have to do is ban the BBC Condos, devs! Tell them if they want BBC they should go to /gif/ for fuck's sake.

There are a lot of cool concepts and genres that don't exist outside of Roblox that deserve their own stand alone games in my opinion. Maybe this will come into fashion once there's reliable world models that can actually create game concepts reliably from scratch. Genie 3 is looking promising and a later iteration could possibly be used for making game concepts. (I know it's primary use is Robotics, but it could have that secondary usage case.)

A part of getting older is seeing things taken from you and watching them become perverted into something horrible you no longer recognize. Zoomers will increasingly recognize this feeling as they get older and they notice more and more, they've been displaced as the primary marketing demographic. Also they killed Harambae.

Guts & Blackpowder is a great game, especially with friends, and everyone should give it at least a try.

Also, it's not gonna attract any of the Roblox gooners. There's simply no reason why they would congregrate to it and use it as a hub for degeneracy when there are miles better places to do their deviancy.
 
ROBLOX has updated their ToS rules 2 days ago stating that they can ban "Vigilante Groups" and pedo catchers like Ruben Sim.

Half of this is shit designed to attract the attention of 8 year olds for maximum profits so they can buy in-game purchases and the other half are throwaway games at best. The only good place to find anything interesting is your recommended section in the Home tab. There's also this game that helps with discovering games that are actually worth playing but I haven't tried it out myself:

This video also shows how awful ROBLOX's proper channels are for reporting criminal activity.
