There are two types of soyjakkers. You may refer to them as Creatives and Rapists.
Creatives created soyjaks and soy culture. They enjoy art and have a sense of humor.
Rapists have a pathological need to dominate and hurt other people. They latched onto soy culture because initially soyjaks were used to mock soyboys, and this mockery appealed to Rapists.

Over time Rapists took position of authority within the Soysphere, due to their constant desire to assert dominance and their obsession with power.
When Creatives inevitably came into conflict with Rapists, they found that Rapists now hold all the power, and are deeply invested in their pursuit of dominance, spending day and night in the janny 'cord, planning future gayops.
This caused most Creatives to abandon the Soysphere, for it's no longer about art and humor, instead it's about endless homosexual wars between "soy splinters" in a fight for "authority" and "power" over the bald men with glasses.

Thus we are left with a Soysphere that has very few creatives, and a growing number of Rapists feuding with each other.
Once you understand this basic concept, it becomes obvious why groups like 764 and Skibidi Farms became associated with soyjaks, why torture spam is accepted, why 'P is so common, why some 'teens claim they are "fighting EPI groomers" by spamming a picture of 'cado's butthole on Roblox, why "Max" plastered the site with Blacked.com ads, why jannies are pedos, and so on.
The pony thing is just a meme that caught on, I think. It's associated with Barneyfag (also known as Lee) and his unusual mindset, part of which was obsessive hatred of MLP.
