Sooo I am guessing from the hair and possible weight loss, that they have decided the solution to their financial woes is to digitally pimp her out again, probably as a titty streamer with a political slant. Like they'll set up the waiting area like a nightclub almost, and offer you a drink (glass of wine, mixed drink, weird Whole Foods-like organic soda), leather barber chairs, etc. Then charge you a lot because because of that experience. I remember once I just moved to a bigger city, hair started looking like shit. Passed by a barber shop on the way home, looked like a little, nothing fancy place. Went inside, there was modern art on the wall, and house music, the barber offered me my choice of juice or wine. Long story short, $50 for a "just trim the dead ends off" haircut. I have a feeling that's what Gargantuan Gape's place is like

I am from a big city myself but rocking a buzz cut since i was in my late teens which i cut myself so i did not know how bad it is these days. I did notice that barber shops have been looking swankier and swankier these last couple of years, that nightclub thing you describe is how i have perceived some of them, too.
