MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) -- An active investigation is underway after an NYPD officer and civilian were shot in Midtown, Manhattan, according to police sources.

They say the officer and civilian were shot on the street at East 52nd Street and Park Avenue by a suspect who fled into an office building.

There is currently a lockdown at the office building at 345 Park Ave.

It's unclear the extent of the victims' injuries.

Officials are asking people to avoid areas near East 52nd Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue due to police activity.

No further details have been provided.

The investigation is ongoing.

reports say he shot up the 1st floor, not the 33rd, as far as i can tell. the 33rd floor houses offices for the company that owns the building itself, Rudin Management Company

To add: Black Rock/Stone/Cube/etc are (probably) all named after the Kabbalistic/occult worship of Saturn. Possibly even the petrodollar (which is not the “petrol” dollar btw).
