There will be no trial, this is a simple restraining order hearing.

When someone files for a restraining order and can provide enough reason for it, they will get a temporary order to protect them until a hearing where evidence can be presented. At this hearing the party accused of harassment can defend their behavior and oppose the restraining order.

The upcoming hearing is THAT hearing. If Aaron can make a case for himself that he needs protection from Nick and Melton (each with their own hearing), and neither can explain why their behavior does not constitute harassment, then the actual restraining orders will be issued.

There will be no trial.

I theorize as a child, Nick was able to get a lot of attention and validation that he normally wouldn't get by being a girly little bitch and arguing semantics and small details with his parents or nanny. He would often win because people found it easier to ignore him instead of hoping he might actually be open to learning or a compromise. Perhaps he used to get a psychological reward for winning arguments like a bitch instead of having a sound, understandable argument. Further proof of this, is when you have Queen Kamekaze Keanu, completely nullify his behavior by not caring about a word he's saying and goading him into getting ripping pissed off and chimping out. It's his button. By simply not playing by the rules of his expectations and treating him like the asshole he is. (p.s i know she's an absolute wreck but bless anyone for getting Nick screaming mad with almost no effort.)
