A clear tell that Sam fucked himself with the chimpout is that even his crew, through all their second hand shame, still can't help but laugh at Harland's one liners. His set is destroyed and he's asking them what kind of fucking french fries they like. What a king.

That's not the same path as idubbbz it's a forced comparison. Idubbbzs failure was was completely turning on his fanbase to pander to outside crowds that hate him and will always hate him. Not everyone is literally the guy they just made fun of.

I happen to dislike both of these people, but I don't think my dislikes are related.

I dislike Metokur because he's a smug, smarmy faggot who smiletalks and lies for "comedic effect". I think people like him because they self-insert as Metokur when he's totally owning retards like Ralph or whatever, and it's like winning an imaginary argument in the shower or something. Metokur is one of the very, very few people who I want to slap some humility into when I hear him talk. Utterly insufferable.

I'm not a big Sam fan, but he doesn't get on my nerves like Metokur. I find him grating and unfunny when he's left to his own devices, but he can be funny when he doesn't have the freedom to do whatever he wants. S3 Fishtank Sam was great, for example, but all of Sam's independent "comedy" is just annoying to me. And I don't care if this means I'm some "plebeian" who just "doesn't get it"; being pretentious doesn't make it any funnier or less abrasive.
