He often brags about paying his translators well, so he doesn't do it himself. I think he says it's hard to translate the game because he has to put lines in languages he doesn't speak into the huge array and make sure they're assigned to the correct index value. Weird of him to complain about that, since he has also made a youtube short bragging about how the genius array makes localization super easy. I can't find it though, probably deleted it out of embarrassment.

This feels like Card is bluffing, but at the same time I think the chance that someone inside of mald's discord has definitely leaked all of it already so Card is being as loose as possible because he doesn't want to reveal his whole hand just yet until it's a direct cripple to mald being platformed at all. I think this is why he wouldn't show anything to Quinttheo, because he's cautious that Quint would want to be the one to break the news on it before Card had enough that would warrant youtube needing to do something.

OCD manifests differently depending on the person and yes Mald's explanation sounds like complete bullshit but not because he's a filthy furfag, a compulsion wouldn't just leave you there for hours in an endless loop for no reason while your brain shuts off.

I have a relatively minor case(diagnosed) and it basically manifests as thing you absolutely have to do, for example when walking past my front door I have to open it and close it again to make sure it's closed otherwise something bad will happen. What exactly? I don't fucking know! Maybe someone will break in, maybe my dogs will run away, I just know that something bad WILL happen if I don't do that.

OCD doesn't shut you down at all and that's the biggest indicator that he's lying his ass off. It's more like scratching an itch in your mind on something you must do, like staring at a clock until the numbers are even or rounded down to the exact minute. But mald thinks that claiming he's neurodivergent over desk drawers makes him seem like fucking Einstein because Amazon has a set of mechanical intelligence questions for their warehouse employees based on them. There's probably only employed and paid a token salary to indenture them to himself while sweetening an NDA they had to sign to not reveal how much of a tool he is, as people have done. I can believe he has hordes of paid jannies because all of his behaviour revolves around hiding the fact that he privately knows he's failed upwards. He doesn't work on his game because he probably know he can't finish it in a competent state that won't definitively expose him.
