Multiple states require all students to take the ACT sometime before they graduate high school, Rick's being one of them. People like him are the reason these states have averages of 18-20 whereas states like Maine have a 27 or so because only the serious students are taking it. It's not a bad brand. At the very least, it isn't say a Chinese movement. A lot of formerly good brands went under, got bought out by a Chinese firm, and now just pump out crap. This isn't the case with this brand. I fully admit, I am not a fan of swiss watches. I prefer mechanicals and for me, Seiko is my preferred brand.
It's not a completely unheard of or kind of shit brand. They were the official watch of the Tour de France a while back.
I just think swiss time pieces are really overrated. But watch people are like wine people. We tend to be very snobby and judgemental over brands.
