I've said before, but current term Trump would not exist had they just not pushed so hard for Biden in 2020. If Trump had won 2020, the blame for anything and everything related to Covid/inflation would be on his shoulders. But with Biden in, it's easy to split or just shift the blame. They wouldn't have had to run Biden or Cackles-Mcgee and could have had a real candidate in 2024 that would more than likely be president right now. Vance would not be VP, and he would likely be irrelevant for this alternate 2024 or 2028.
