This one is hilarious; a Switch for 1 case lmao

"MUH GOOBERMENT OVEREACH! Won't anyone think of the poor corporations!!!"
sub 90 IQ.
you'd think he'd connect the dots that "government overreach" being the only way to fix a problem like this (one made by the industry and devs themselves) is telling how inherently malicious these corporations are.

if only we could just tell these corporations to stop this, and then they go
"shieeeet man sorry, you right" but the world doesn't work that way.
everything he wrote there are the thoughts of someone who can only imagine the shitty world he exists in now, and not a better one.
Disgusting Dirt Child.

So wait a second, you are telling me this nigga made a whole explanation to why he does some things (the whole array shit and the switch cases) to make the game "performant" and you store a fucking PNG in BASE64???????????????????????????????????????????

Fuck fagtree.

With that being said, I think there's a lot of :optimistic:Optimism:optimistic: currently in the thread. Do you really think this movement will succeed? Big company shareholders are all going to pick up the phone, say to each other:
:bogged: "No."

And there's going to be some sort of "OOPSIE DAISY YOU SEE YOU LACK LIKE 1% OF VOTES NEEDED LEFT THEY WERE ACTUALLY FRAUDULENT TEEHEE MOTION IGNORED BY THE EU" or some retarded bureaucratic sounding bullshit like that. Petitions never go anywhere if internet history is to be well known.

Don't get me wrong, I did spread the word as much as the next guy so others signed it and I hate Fagtree for trying to maliciously destroy a very important movement like this, but now that we've obtained one million signatures it's time we look at the big picture: This shit isn't going to work. Corporations will find a way to fuck us and there's nothing we can do about it.

Highlight my post. You know this shit is going to inevitably happen.

My profile is open for any stupid nigger faggot who adopts the "anyone who disagrees with me is a tranny" lack of reading comprehension mentality and wishes to say so without derailing the thread.

Yes. Most the people who i've seen argue that what SKG is asking for is unreasonable or a gargantuan task, look and/or sound like people that should be euthanized. There may be some push back, but this is not like the Apple situation, where forcing USB-C cut into their ability to scalp their customers. Nor is it like the market place monopoly(also about profits).

What SKG is asking for is rather small potatoes compared to those other things the EU has accomplished. In some ways SKG is a very conservative movement, it's asking for the industry to go back to how things used to be. It's not advocating to take us into some radical wild west. The amount of work needed from any given dev should not be tremendous. Most games will be unaffected by this!

I am not arguing about games being fucked you stupid fucking retard. I am well aware of what the movement is about. I am arguing it's very optimistic to think companies won't find some sort of way to stop this before it passes such as one of ross's valid worries which is fraudulent vote claims.

I think what you didn't understand about what I said is: because the impact of this proposal is so low, I don't see a reason for anyone to come after it. Again, it's not going to cut into profits massively like the USB-C or app-store issues.

If you don't get it after explaining it a second time, you're either a stupid nigger or trolling.

It doesn't matter if the impact is low. The domino effect is still there. It's optimistic to think that uncompromising, uncaring companies, some which are very blatant about it such as blizzard (hence Fagtree's involvement), would want for things to go back to how they were and get their infinite money strat get fucked.

So hes doing 1 last parting shot, and plans to close down the channel trashing it, so he can claim hes "good"???

MONITOR THAT CHANNEL FOR BS, AND FFS GET DISCORD USER ID's!!!!

I suspect hes going to do something fucked then delete records of it.
ARCHIVE EVERYTHING!!!

Logically it does. If the impact to profits is low, why would a corporation care?

People keep buying new iPhones despite the fact that the old ones still exist and are not rendered obsolete. People still buy new vehicles even though older ones exist. People still buy the new COD even though the old ones are still playable. FOMO and FOTW are enough of a driving factor that it's completely irrelevant that there could potentially be old copies of games lying around.

Spics will still buy the new FIFA, and niggers will still buy the new NBA2K. Old versions or not. If all this fear mongering were fucking accurate, every spic and nigger on earth would be playing the old versions of FIFA and NBA2K and EA would be out of fucking business. Get real.

What if, imagine this, governments simply force the greedy businesses to adopt this policy or face legal ramifications? You know, like overtime pay, minimum wage, maximum hours worked per day/week, safety regulations, or any of the dozens of other cases where it has happened? Maybe the initiative ends up going nowhere, but you're acting as if it's impossible to impose regulations on companies.
