He's the textbook definition of a con artist, going from community to community to avoid his horrible reputation keeping up with him. Ever since the WOW drama his misdeeds have started being, slowly but surely, brought to light, this SKG reignition was merely the climax giving enough substance to the drama to generate an internet wildfire against him.
 
This entire thread has been a blast. Thank you to everyone who ever exposed Maldy, from the most random KF retard, to the Second Life faggots reporting on the ferretfucker, to Rossman, and to Ross, man. My weakening bullshit detector only gave faint beeps when Maldy started appearing in my YT feed, between how badly thought-out his MS paint diagrams were and his overcomplicated password storage. I didn't give much of a shit about the roaching incident because I don't play MMOs. I was always hopeful to catch him programming on stream, but could never scrub through the timeline to find him not playing games. I only thought it was annoying that he stopped uploading those advice-based shorts, with that whole deep-voiced cool dad shtick he was doing. When he took that swing at Ross 10 months ago, I just closed the tab out of disgust and went on with my day. When he went through that puzzle games cheating incident, I was content with too much bread and circuses to look into it beyond a quick glance and thinking, "Oh, is he doing a shtick where he's pretending to chat that this is his first time playing Animal Well? Like with that short where he deliberately made chat angry that he was failing at the last stretch of Getting Over It? This is just him doing a Let's Play of something he's already played and watched community videos on, right??"

I cannot believe I completely overlooked how insufferable this ferret fucker really was. After experiencing countless Gamergate lolcows, I thought I would never again let another narcissist in videogames just slide under my nose. And yet, Maldy managed to slip by just by starting things off with a voice changer and fortune cookie-tier advice. Goes to show how you always have to remain truly vigilant if you want to avoid scum like Fagtree.

Also, I genuinely believe he used ChatGPT for at least one of those advice moments shown ITT. What sort of ignorant, gormless nepobaby recommends buying a giant floor freezer and stuffing an entire cow's worth of meat into it as a money-saving tactic for the poor?? That shit was AI generated, there's no way a human came up with that concept entirely on their own. He must've ran out of fatherly advice to recite in a mirror and started looking at ChatGPT for help.

I think it was some bullshit "professionalism" among content creators. Mald is a big streamer who tries to network aggressively and had this darling reputation he fostered over time so getting a bunch of his narcissistic quotes together in a video and calling him out would probably just make them look like an asshole. Which is what Mald tried to do to Ross when Ross made his SKG video that grabbed everyone's attention.

For WoW's failed Dire Maul raid and Ashes of Creation's ocular incident there is context necessary that doesn't make for a good normietuber video. Cr1tikal, Asmongold, Mutahar, etc rely more on people barely paying attention to their content for views and whatever they talk about is dead simple. So I think Mald controversies tended to need too much context to be good for views and it'd be seen in poor taste but I'm glad Charlie got tired of Mald's bullshit in the dms and called him out for what he is. Suddenly it was good for views.

Right now the vibe is being nice and supportive of SKG and Mald is cowering in a corner and whining about "death threats". A guy like Mald doesn't really learn from his mistakes though. He'll build up his smug again and then he'll go and act like an asshole in a few months. I would say that would be the time.

It also related with the EVE Online incidents and Second Life incidents. He had the same behavior showed today, 20/25 years ago. He hasnt changed an inch.
 
Ross seems like such a nice guy. Genuinely one of the nicest people on the Internet, and not like his identity is "oh I'm so nice" like Boogie or "oh I'm so good at considering other people's opinions" like Mald. Just a genuine, kinda aspie, considerate person. Every interaction he has with someone is so tame. That's why it's been such a draw of attention for how Mald has responded. I think everyone intuitively went "wait why are you literally bullying the nice spergy guy over there".

The disagreement between Louis Rossman and Ross is something that, if someone like Keemstar was involved, would turn into a big shit flinging event. What's crazy is I think even if Keemstar and Ross had some kind of disagreement it wouldn't ever blow up. That's how disproportional Mald's responses to everything is.

I really hate how Mald has tried to spin it as if this were two equivalently culpable people involved in drama. No Mald, you're 99% responsible for this because you instantly went from 0 to 100 the moment you learned of SKG, saying really rude shit to Ross and undoubtedly sending your followers to fuck with him.

If there's anything this whole event shows, it shows just how effective ignoring someone who's being a dick to you is. Ross completely ignored Mald's aggressive and harassing behaviours ("bullying", though I think that's a childish term)., and this very effectively put a stop to Mald being a dick to him. As soon as Ross acknowledged all of this 10 months later (which he basically had to for SKG) Mald immediately went back to being a massive asshole, having to delete his own tweets because he knew they made him look bad. Now Mald's only strategy is the classic BPD/NPD schtick. "Oh I'm being harassed" "oh I can't go anywhere no" "oh I'm suicidal" and shit like that in an attempt to make Ross feel bad (and I do believe he specifically blames Ross and wants to make Ross feel bad).

Dr. K essentially told him to stop fucking posting that bullshit because it would make his situation worse. But no, because he thinks Ross and him are on equal footing, and because his reputation is hurting, he needs to even the playing field and take Ross down with him by insinuating that SKG's supporters are trying to ruin his life, and that it's Ross' fault, so Ross' identity should be damaged too.

Look for this in all his past sperg-outs and all his future ones. He always tries to establish first that everyone involved is on an equal playing field, then he talks about how he's been harmed, and then he argues for why everyone else should be brought down as well. He's completely uncomfortable with the imbalance, and his first intuition is to drag everyone down with him.

The only problem now is he's doing this against someone who he can't really drag down, and everyone can see that. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some pretty erratic behaviour in response. He'll probably try really, really hard to find a way to smear SKG. It's probably what he's doing right now, at least if he isn't gooning to ferrets.

That fucking video was so stupid, not only is it bizarre to expect his average audience to have an entire freezer just for a singular food item, but pirate even lied about the price just so he could fit the narrative of "how to spend only ~$3USD a day on food"

That said, Mald grew up extremely wealthy, so I'm sure having multiple freezers filled with wholesale product is plausible. But I'm sure his lazy ass just got takeaway delivered every day. In fact, he probably still does that, I can't imagine the dude who is too lazy to work on his kickstarter project is productive enough to cook his own meals. And the video itself showed how ignorant Mald was on the actual cost of things, exposing his privileged nepobaby interior.
