The way Finns are signing their info is like "XXXTie 7" and it would go to the street identifier. You're supposed to put the house number into the street field. Number is for Hlotunnus.

Fug. Let me check.
so if a nigga doesnt have a house number their the henkilotunnus is 0? they change homes and their ssn changes? sounds retarded

the blue thing calls it a residence number. iirc thats more than enough for an euro reich to pinpoint your location and see if youre real

Guys, I'm starting to worry that a lot of these signatures are botted
Finland has over 4x the minimum amount
Well fortunately even if all if the signatures from Finland were botted, as long as the momentum for real signatures doesn't stop once the goal has been hit, 40k out of 1 million is basically a rounding error.

I am a retard. I checked the Finnish version of the form, and it is clearly for the building number. Taking an L. THAT BEING SAID, it's still too unlikely for botting from Finland specifically, because DVV (the registry authority) maintains a complete count of who lives where. Everyone is required to be registered.

But again, am a retard.

I stand corrected. I still doubt anyone will bot it. There at least hasn't been any evidence of it happening in the past, and to be honest this initiative is rather small potatoes compared to the other ones (in terms of riling someone up enough to bot it).

Logically speaking, wouldn't a systematic submission of votes in a specific pattern be detected by EU? Otherwise, we're implying that there's either a massive, considerable amount of retards tasked with poisoning the petition or somewhat a non-trivial set-up of having to make it look as a semi-inconspicuous vote accumulation (different names, signatures, changing IPs from time to time). Is it reasonable to assume there's another assblasted Mald with more resources to thwart this? Then why wait until now?

SKG needs to team up with the fine folks of Stop Vivisection and form Stop Vivisecting Gamers. We are all just greed experiments for corporations who want to do no more than gut us of our hard-earned money, then hastily get rid of our corpses when there’s nothing left.

I'm afraid the AAA industry detests this initiative and will want to bot it past 1 million. I'm not really worried about Mald fans though.

This is an official government process that's taking place, the vote counter is made by the government, is hosted on the governments website, and with the EU being what it is, they are no doubt inspecting all traffic that comes through their infrastructure. They may not validate the info in real-time for every country, but they have to be keeping an eye out for multiple submissions from the same IP address. Maybe a few would not be suspicious, but hundreds of submissions on a single IP. Even if they rotated VPNs, that's a tall ask. And for what gain?

Stop Vivisecting Gamers
lol

I'm not sure the games industry knows how to be proactive. Like with the creation of the ESRB, it was done out of duress from congress. Same with lootboxes, government looming forced a change. Seems the games industry are just as lazy and complacent as their audience.

And the only thing you need for a Finnish signature is your name, DOB and address
View attachment 7593562
same thing with the netherlands germany and ireland
42k + 61k + 203k + 26k
Now of course not every signature is botted but still

We're in the zone, lads.

That's my point. It seems very unlikely that without prior leakage on plans (sophisticated plans are really hard to contain), somehow undetected surge of botted signatures is happening and EU does nothing. Until there's evidence of botting, I would say it's more of a cascade of signatures due to high profile coverage and MALD being a ROACH.

I agree. I can understand someone being skeptical of this passing, life being what it is. I personally trust the count for the most part.

And one thing we can all agree on is that Jason is a stupid nigger.

Keep in mind the skyrocketing has happened in the wake of a dedicated signal-boosting campaign. It makes perfect sense that it would react in response to that.

Forgive me if I don't share your optimism. It ain't over until we establish a strong presence beyond the 1 million threshold. I'm talking 2-6 million at the least. Until then, we aren't out of the woods yet.
True. But I think we'll manage over 1 million. Even to go further. But its fine you don't see the same elation. Skepticism is usual is all. I'm skeptical that we will get over 2 million and about how this will play out. The proposal that is.
Oh, the green bar is further along than the red one. it's probably gonna close out today with time to spare.

Funnily enough, the keep-track site added an estimator for the expected total signatures based on the going rate.

View attachment 7593508

Granted, that's probably far in excess of what it'll actually hit, but man... can you imagine?
I'm still going to put my hand in the air while having a shot of whiskey. I'm imagining a lot more traction and more signatures

Louis Rossmann Part 2
"Stop Killing Games Part 2"

Wants SKG to have a plan of action. Giving the honest critique about all of this. He wants SKG to succeed.
The guy he interviewed seems a little too sure of himself quite often and gets shit wrong like the steam DRM and "Everybody loves steam"

I get that Louis probably interviewed becuase he needed someone to be contrarian but the guy is getting a lot wrong. The WoW server stuff too...

Ross commented on Louis' part two. I watched the whole thing and the guy Louis is talking to just seemed confused about a bunch of the definitions and what is demanded from the industry.
To me, it looks like there just needs to be a conversation to hash out the actual problems the industry would have and I don't think anyone is against that.
The guy didn't seem to know shit that a lot of people do know.
Did Louis say who the guy was? I don't think there were any introductions done which I found very strange.

Ludwig comment on Jason post.

So how long before Ludwig rehired the furry fucker when the drama dies down? Do like how he try to claim to support SKG but also try to play the victim card too.
Think he was forced out and told to step down?
I'd imagine he got quite the yelling at and told to step down or they'd make an uncomfortable exit for him.
Ludwig does not seem the type to me to actually stand up for anyone but himself.

To everyone thinking it's weird that there are so many signatures at night:
We're talking about how many? 30k a night? When you frame it against the entire population of the EU you will notice that 30k people is an absolutely MINUSCULE amount when compared to even some of the major cities. How many do you think are browsing the internet at night, watching the videos of the latest dramas, checking out Facebook, etc. Literal hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Additionally university students have a break at the moment, so it's even more likely that they will be doing all-nighters.
500k people is an average population of a one major city. Do you really think that there is less than 30k people sitting on their computers at night at the same time in one such city alone?
Its not odd, its all the fucking Euro no lifes who game realizing what's going on and signing. It's a wonderful thing.

IT WAS REVIEW BOMBED... IN MY HEAD

"People said mean things on twitter."

LOL, nigger, please.

Which it should because video games are more important than water.
No one has a right to water for free.

But you do have a right to own what you bought including that water.

Actually getting laws and protections in place - Skeptic
Seeing Jason get angry because he's a terrible human outside of having differing views - ecstatic

If the first one doesn't actually turn into a law, at least it's a small win that there's people who want it, Regardless, Fuck Pirate.

signatures today goes from 69,419 to 69,424

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
