The website's JS and backend are getting actively updated, one of the new updates in the past few hours is that the daily average isn't over the entire data set, but over the last day. It used to say about 5500, but now it says 132450.

It's possible that the graph counter has been updated to fuck around less at hours now.

Not to say there isn't botting, but it's unlikely that this pattern is.

It's also way harder to bot this, not just security wise but doing so is an international fraud charge, rather than your usual spergy change.org petition.

You could have linked or posted the argument.
But just by eyeballing it, the graph on the right is too smooth for what actually happened on YouTube.
A bunch of small to medium-sized YouTubers released videos one after another, so you would expect to see bumps in the graph around the times their videos were released.

I did check, and it seems they don't verify til later. Seems they really ARE TRYING to kill us with an OD of hopeium

Between the industry HATING this and thor, fans, I wouldn't be shocked if they are pumping in PLENTY of extras now so we give up early.

You might wonder about fraud charges, but they have to CATCH them, and through a botnet thats a bitch.

Plus if they DID, they could probably pin it on some janny or some shit.

This is really disgusting this is their tactics.

We're gonna make this shit happen. Also hasn't it been pointed out that a couple of the countries do verification at time of signing? The likelihood of it being botted to any degree that would be noticeable beyond the typical clerical errors is low in my opinion. Pirate software isn't a very talented coder himself and attracts people who can't see that so I imagine they aren't very bright in that regard either so the chances they have the brain cells to make a bot is not very high.
