You will find people that never fully developed into mature adults adhere the most to rules and laws as a means of bragging about intelligence. (so maldie fans) That is there absolute best when trying so their go to whenever they face direct opposition on such a massive scale is that it must be unfair so much against them or whatever side they take -- That it must be illegal. You can anecdotally prove this if you think about any job you have held and the types of people that were overly rude and stupid were always the most likely to enforce rules against clients/customers instead of just making their job easy or being kind. All of these things we can see a lot in lolcows whenever they try to crush for control as much as possible and always seem to misinterpret other viewpoints on basic shit and then turn around to use that as an excuse to treat their fans or the little guy on the receiving end like a subhuman.
I look forward so much to the fallout of mald doubling down yet again and most likely making a statement like "See it doesn't matter if you hate me with all this unwanted mobbing it changes nothing." while he bleeds subscribers even more and pretends that everything is ok like he has always done.

Okay, so a couple of days ago when Ross posted the "End of SKG" video I wrote this:

Right now you know what this whole thing reminds me of? This whole "everyone on the internet gangs up on one asshole for being a dick to a good guy" situation? I kept thinking and thinking why this thing feels so similar, like I've seen it before already.
Do you remember "The New Guy"?
This feels SO SIMILAR (albeit in much larger scale) how everyone decided to dunk on one asshole to (indirectly and/or directly) protect a chill guy, who everyone loves and believes is getting attacked unjustly.

A few years back I was playing the Riot card game "Legends of Runeterra" (dont judge it was really good and had a pricing model that actually respected the customer) and one of the better content creators for that game I found was a youtuber named 'Grapplr'
I havent played Runeterra in years now but youtube recently saw fit to recommend me a video of his again:

As an aside, the game hes playing (Outer Wilds) is really fantastic, if you havent played it and you think you might, dont even watch this video just go play Outer Wilds, it's a sort of puzzle/exploration game that you can only really experience once. That said, it's not particularly difficult. You would have to be an actual retard to need to rely on google for solutions. However, an actual retard is exactly what we're dealing with here.

Honestly it'd be stretch but I assume libel / defamation insofar as the litigant can prove substantial loss of income if they're a US citizen. It's more lax in the EU where financial loss isn't factored as heavily. In Japan you can sue someone for basically dishonoring you which is pretty cool.
