This is something I find fascinating about all of this. This is one of the most strongly-bipartisan issues I've seen in some time, to the point where I'm seeing some opposites begrudgingly open dialogues with and help each other out over this.

I can only pray that this turns on some lightbulbs in peoples' heads about the value of societal cooperation in spite of our differences.
 
I look back to the raw numbers every now and again and when I see this:

Could be optics. Thing is topical and he wants to be seen as a man of the people.

Could also be that he just likes games and if he claims to be a PC gamer old head the way he's done, maybe it's a soft spot for him.

Hell, if one chooses to believe he's a petulant, short-sighted retard, then maybe he just didn't even have it occur to him that this may eventually tread into his space. I think there's a reading of it with a valid A->B causality no matter how you feel about the guy.

Not like something having a chance to slightly step on his margins will put a dent in his incomprehensibly-large mountain of wealth anyways.

Mald is turning into a conduit for people to release vitriol against AAA like he were a lightning rod. Bros lookin like Marv from home alone 2 right now, it's hilarious.

This whole storm is lightning in a bottle. From the temperaments of Ross(innocent) vs. Mald(manipulative), to Mald's previous slowdive leading up to a week ago. The narrative was set in stone before Ross even made his video. If Mald had apologized at any point in the past 5 months, this would not have gone the way it did, and Mald would have had a lot more support.

Somehow still not even deleted, his voice is incredibly different in these clips. The first clip genuinely sounds like a completely different person. Surely this lends some credibility to the medical procedure theory here. It wouldn't be that different from plastic surgery etc.

The craziest part of all this is that he just sounds like a normal guy, but being a normal guy with a respectable voice and a respectable name wasn't enough for him, he had to do his larp name with the deepest voice ever because it makes him seem more authoritative and special.

That's a really interesting point. If large entities and systems are too abstract to hate, then I suppose I see how champions that personify their ideals are easier to unify against, because they're abstract ideas brought into tangible space.
