The thing is even if nothing happens with paws and nothing else is said about the whole debacle, she will never risk trying to get back into Kuwait, just in case of any possibility of her actually being detained at the airport or being refused entry to the country.

Outside of fatso claiming to be a fugitive, there hasn’t been any news on that front.

All this shit happened around Eid (some mooslum holiday probably honoring child rape) so I imagine the courts were closed.

Also, and this just me speculating here but if the Kuwaiti court system is anything like the court system here in the West then I would assume it’s a slow process. Courts are only open so many days of the year for so many hours (former paralegal here and I still have nightmares trying to figure out that shit) and there are specific times you have to submit complaints, evidence, etc. I am also assuming a lawyer would good standing with the court would have to be the one submitting it and those aren’t cheap. PAWS Kuwait would be the one footing the bill and maybe they decided it wasn’t worth the money and time, especially since Guntal has already left the country.

In my experience (once again, with Western Court system) it usually takes a month of actual open court days to hear anything. That’s 30 days, which at some parts of the year, might actually take up to 2 months of real time (they don’t count weekends, holidays, and other random things.)

Also, that 30 days is for the accused to response. If Salad doesn’t response to anything (and I dunno if he is even on the original complaint submitted to the court) then the court might make a judgement but then again, he may have submitted something to either extend the time needed to response or proof that he wasn’t the one doing the accused crimes which he could potentially argue.

IMHO, we might hear something about this come early August, something around the lines a default judgment against Chantal but it would probably mean nothing to her unless her ultimate goal was to move to back to Kuwait.

Details have not been forthcoming, but there's no evidence that Chantal was ever charged with anything, or that there's a warrant for her arrest. She certainly wasn't convicted of any crime. I'm in the camp of those who think the matter got dropped. If so, she shouldn't appear in any criminal database, and would pass a criminal background check.

If she applies for an eVisa and it's granted, she should be able to re-enter Kuwait with impunity. I think she'll try, despite her claims of not wanting to go back. Her life in Kuwait wasn't good, but it's even worse in Canada.

Of course, Kuwait Immigration can still refuse her entry, even with a valid passport and visa. They can refuse anybody entry, and don't have to give a reason for doing so. Will they? Purely speculative, but I doubt it. I think they will let her waddle back in just like she's been doing for the past 3 years.
