It’s not, however the US government has used Muslims as a smokescreen for Israel’s benefit for way too long, you can prevent terrorist attacks without destroying Israel’s primary geopolitical rival in the region for its benefit
we could have prevented a nuclear Iran by not killing their lead nuclear negotiator the day before we were supposed to meet with him.

I'm not regretting my vote, but I'm a little disappointed. In fact I kind of saw it coming. No matter how good a candidate seems, they're never going to be 100% honest and they're going to do things you don't agree with. No such thing as the perfect politician.

At any rate, I don't feel really bad about blowing up countries that want us dead.
not american but the way i see it the "no more foreign/forever wars" promise remains intact as long as there is no invasion, no occupation, no nation building attempts.
aerial/naval/missile bombing operations don't really matter. as long as there aren't american soldiers being sent to suffer, fight, and die in some shithole it's all good.

Well, their government openly chants “Death To America”. And Iran supports the Houthis, whose motto includes the phrase “Death To America.” I am pretty sure anything to harm somebody who wants me dead can only be seen as a good thing.
According to Steven Colbert you should kiss feet before you're beheaded, remember to hate Orange Hitler

we are six months in. we have 3 and a half more years of this nigga. he is going to invade Iran. Probably it'll be over them restricting oil in the region or attacking U.S. bases. And people here will still be saying it's not a happening.

All of the wildly Pro-Trump people in this thread still haven't explained how bombing Iran is good for Americans in any way.
The average American will see zero benefit from this action (and probably will even suffer some detriment because gas prices are going to rise), but this directly contributes to the long-term encircling of Russia and isolation of China, which is good for the empire as a whole.

>Some ME shithole gets bombed
>People getting into hysterics
Why does it even fucking matter. Trump also recently bombed Yemen and nobody gave a shit, why is this shit any different. Report back when ground troops get involved lmao.

The Trump regret flows strong today.
Did you vote for this?
They're already coping by saying they don't regret voting for Trump because Harris would've done the same thing. It's a typical coping mechanism done by individuals who Fell For It Again but can't accept that maybe, just maybe, a grifting billionaire doesn't have their best interest in mind.

It'll be funny watching the people in here switch to defending it because ORANGE MAN GUD in their simpleton eyes

Quick question because I might not be aware of every factor:

Support for Zionism was strongest in America between 1917 to 1948, and again from 1973 to the present day. It waned after the establishment of Israel, but saw a resurgence after the Yom Kippur war. If Iran stops posing a threat to Israel, would AIPAC have a justification to exist anymore or receive as many donations as it does? President Ford almost demoted Israel but AIPAC had reached peak funding as a result of the Yon Kippur war and so a lobbied congress was able to pressure him into keeping them an American priority.

Would AIPAC's decline occur if Israel had no threats in the Middle East, and with it, the political support of Israel from American politicians?
