• [7:00 AM PT] California National Guardsmen has been deployed to the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building / Justice Department Building complex on N Alameda Street side in Downtown Los Angeles. They are only standing guard around the federal complex's garages.
• [10:32 AM PT] The arrival of National Guardsmen has attracted a growing number of anti-ICE protestors around the federal complex. A riot will soon form.
• [12:16 PM PT] Governor Gavin Newsom of California threatened to block California tax payments to the federal government in protest of losing control over the California National Guard and the Guard's deployment to Los Angeles. The Treasury Secretary of the United States Scott Bessent has threatened Newsom that he and his government will be personally liable for tax evasion.
