People walking around staring at their phones. Completely oblivious to other pedestrians and more worryingly the roads. I've watched people not even glance up and walk straight across roads while glued to their screen.

Newest nemesis are people pushing a pram while on their phone. They achieve this by pushing the pram with one hand while holding the phone with the other. The result is they take up the whole fucking pavement as they are essentially walking side by side with the pram.

The urge to just slap phones out of people's hands is getting stronger everyday.
 
The rampant overuse of the words "trauma" and "traumatise". Especially when it's for the most mundane shit. If you just saw your friend step on a landmine? Sure, that's probably traumatizing. When you were 7 did you get molested? Yeah you got trauma from that. However if you just watched a movie that was out of your comfort zone? Fuck off with that shit, you big baby.
 
That, apparently, I'm the "rude and nasty" person for riding my bike on the sidewalk and not wanting to be clotheslined by a dog leash.

Here's this lady, standing in the street to my left, with her dog with its paws up on my tree to the the right, and neither of which is on the sidewalk, and my eyesight isn't the best, so I can only see the leash at say about 50 feet away and I'm approaching at about 8 mph. I kind of assume the woman was walking the dog without a leash (it happens in my neighborhood), and I'm thinking, do I swerve to hit the lady, or the dog, or do the 200+ pounds of force of me+bike hit the leash, causing injury to all three of us.

I'm trying to signal to the woman that maybe she shouldn't be taking up the fucking sidewalk that way, and she calls me rude because she's the one that put up an obstruction.

Yes I know I am entitled to ride my bike on the street. However, I am also cognizant of how drivers hate bikers, and more specifically, visibility is poor due to all of the side-street parking around here. Sidewalks are just generally safer if you want to ride a bike around here.
 
Chinese and Indian tourists. Dear god, why do their groups always have someone leading with a megaphone.

I had never heard this dumb term until maybe 6 or so months ago. I actually looked it up on Google Trends and apparently the word didn't even exist until ~a year and a half ago.

All of a sudden it caught on now though, and every spaz is using the term everywhere. I see it here, I see it on YT, now nobody's having meltdowns anymore, they're having "crashouts".

These types of terms regularly emerge then get overused online because people are dumb and poor at expressing themselves, and every time it happens I have a crashout about it, but this one has annoyed me a little more than usual because it's a made up term that was invented in 2023 and it's rarely used in a way that it sounds appropriate to the situation. I'm sure in a year it will be some new overused word, and it will irritate me as well, because I'm a hater and psychologically a grumpy old man.

At least crashout is composed of two actual English words and one can infer the meaning with relative ease. Can’t say the same about “fanum tax,” “gyatt,” and, God forbid, “rizz.”
 
I don't know how Satan himself managed to land the job as UX designer for the Meta Business Suite, but his unique style and sense of humor certainly shine through the whole thing.

Well I guess that is not too bad, especially if I will be able to breath like human should. Still waiting all the inflammation to go down. But fuck meh my summer budgets are tight. Guess I call and can I just toss that all way to end of September to pay.

**Warms my heart though that lady walked like quite a way to bring me that bill, which had been put on her mailbox by mistake. And she is not like next door, like 5 min walk away. Now that I think about it my gears don't grind that bad. Just a little.

I do not like how Current Year web browsers are designed to wear out SSDs with caching this and updating that. Also, YouTube still caches crap even if you specify no caching in preferences. And preferences which should be in GUI menus -- and back in '00s before Current Year were in GUI menus -- are instead hidden in about:config as cryptic codes.

Apps/programs/websites getting updated and having a button or option swapped in place with a different one, so that you have to mentally unlearn the muscle memory you've had for sometimes years.
Websites and programs outright lying to you by not actually saving your settings or options even though you're told they did, making you question whether you're getting gaslit or just going fucking insane.
Ads that fucking move when you mouse over them so that you try clicking "close" or "next" and then end up having to play cat and mouse just so you can read a goddamned recipe or article.
Poor coding, hostile design, most anything to do with modern computer shit in general.

Sometimes I just want to smash this fucking machine purely to make a statement to the 1's and 0's that decided to get on my nerves.

Bikes shouldn't be on the sidewalk. And I say that as someone who once got yelled at for it, even going slower than your slow speed.
 
When I buy an $8 can of dip on June 6th, flip it over, and see that the best by date was February 25th.

You're endangering pedestrians on the sidewalk, though. You choose to be a cyclist, and instead of keeping to the road and only risking your own safety you ride on the sidewalk and risk injuring others. Do you ever wonder why everyone hates cyclists and thinks they're selfish?

Cyclists, people with electric scooters or bikes. I can't have a peaceful walk without someone zooming past me. I have to act like I'm driving now when I'm on the sidewalk because of people like @Not A Bunny. Since my country is importing Indians at breakneck speed the sidewalk has become a battlefield the other day I even saw a smart car driving on the sidewalk! I hate you cyclists if you want to ride a bike ride on the road as the law states and if you don't feel safe drive your car, walk or ride on a bike trail
 
On my quest to find increasingly more obscure things to get mildly upset about, I would like to express how frustrating it is to find a "handwriting" font that perfectly fits the purpose, but then the cursive lowercase s looks like this:
