Before this he had to rely on Barnes-Walker's fuckup in the motion for a Franks hearing where he quoted from and referred to the body cam footage. And he had to overcome the Barnes-Walker withdrawing the offered exhibits. While The Hardship could probably overcome that, it would be a lot of work.

But now? You gave him a free argument because you just couldn't shut the fuck up. You had to win some internet slapfight about fucking nothing. And you didn't even win it! You convinced no one to change their minds. You lost and you will continue to lose. Because you are a loser.

Nick really isn't beating the cult leader allegations, the picture is like something you'd see in a UFO cults compound post kool-aid party. It really is dehumanizing and demoralizing just for utilities sake though, imagine being a 10 year old home schooled boy having to get your clothes from the same rack as your little or bigger sister. Also one of the bodycam note documents clearly states that the children's areas were noticeably cleaner then the "adult" areas

I firmly believe that if Nick actually did the hard work, got clean and sober, he could fix his life and have a redemption arc that would win over the majority of people. Everyone loves a redemption arc.

But you could say the same thing about Bossman Jack and pretty any number of crackheads. It just almost never happens and clearly, Nick isn't remotely close to admitting he is out of control.

Yeah, it's "junkie logic" or "booze thinking", or pretty much name any drug. I volunteer with my local Veterans Hospital and it's one of the more irritating thing is sitting there listening to a moron explain his big brained scheme to win over their estranged kid's love.

It's weird how the plot never involves the addict getting clean.

This whole stream was junkie logic to a T.
