In the transcript from the bodycam footage the orange cat was being held by the kids. Why is the cat in the photo then, when these photos would be taken later during the search? This is clearly a picture taken later after the raid.

EDIT: From the transcript. Orange cat was not inside except briefly, and that was upstairs. Almost the entire rest of the time the cat was with the kids.

I bet these are pics taken by cops, but he's being technical nicky. They could be pics from the CPS agent that would visit to see if they're making progress on cleaning the place up weeks/months after the arrest.
 
You don't need to be a body language expert to know that junkie is the world's worst liar. You'd think a lawyer would be able to discern what sort of tells to avoid.

They're supposed to stop questioning you immediately after you assert your right to remain silent. If you start talking to them again after that without them having questioned you about anything it can be treated as a waiver of that right but it depends on the exact circumstances.
