Nick reneges on his previous statement that the transcripts are accurate, giving the excuse that he was "referring to April's words, which is further up the tweet chain."

This seems to be a poor excuse, as he replied directly to someone asking for its accuracy. There is no mention of April in the tweet chain. This is a easily provable lie.

Has he now only just realised the apocalyptically bad optics of co-signing bodycam descriptions that include cocaine testing positive on pillows and old bottles of alcohol mixed with childrens' toys, and is only now seeking to retract?

This is the entire tweet chain. Nick made a tweet, "JamboJ" asks as to the accuracy of the video transcript and Nick makes a singular, direct reply. There is no mention of April.

Who can say with his wordgames about a promise he was never going to keep anyway, but one consistent interpretation could be that when the state produced the bodycam footage to the Barneswalker in discovery, they also produced transcripts that they would have already prepared as a matter of course, in which case what Nick was going to have "made" was a truncated portion of those transcripts limited in scope to April's statements to be responsive to what the tweeter was asking him. Either that or he actually never had transcripts from discovery and had a transcript of April's statements "made" ad hoc, which he later got back from someone (?) and considered accurate when he got it back, but he just hasn't it published yet. Or he's just full of shit and was never going to publish anything in the first place.

I voted for Trump all three times (to give an idea of my basic politics) but one point on which I might be called a bit woke is corporal punishment for (white) kids, and I had been pleasantly surprised to hear Rekieta was against it even back when he was pretending to be Trad Dad, but it looks like that was another lie on his part.

Celeste wasn't an only child, right? That would mean interest in the trust fund would be split multiple ways. There would be competing interests who might not want to squander the family inheritance on a bad seed. I wonder if the desire to keep the bodycam from coming out is based on Celeste wanting to keep her siblings in the dark on how badly her son is behaving while enabled with family money. And given her pill bottle on her druggie son's refrigerator next to all the drugs, I wonder if the body cams might provide her siblings with enough justification to audit her and her family, and perhaps adjust their access.

No way to investigate that supposition, but it would be a motive for her to try pulling strings.

I was serious about the @Null law license thing. That goes for any of you guys too if you want one, DM and I will direct you where to get one. You'll technically only be an advocate and not an attorney but it's an active law license which is more than Rackets has right now.
